This two-hour intensive AP World History review will focus on key historical themes and developments from 1200 to the present, emphasizing major global transformations such as state-building, trade networks, revolutions, imperialism, and decolonization. Students will refine their historical thinking skills, including sourcing documents, making comparisons, analyzing causation, and crafting strong arguments. The session will also break down the multiple-choice, short-answer, DBQ, and long-essay question formats, providing strategies for maximizing points. By the end, students will feel confident tackling the exam with a solid grasp of both content and skills.
This two-hour intensive AP U.S. History review will cover key content from all nine historical periods, focusing on major themes such as politics and power, social change, economic transformations, and America’s role in the world. Students will review critical turning points, including the American Revolution, Civil War and Reconstruction, the Gilded Age, both World Wars, the Cold War, and modern U.S. history. Emphasis will be placed on connecting historical developments, analyzing primary and secondary sources, and mastering causation, comparison, and continuity/change over time. By reinforcing key concepts and exam strategies, this session will ensure students feel confident and prepared for test day.
